The Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) is a religious college in Jerusalem with a robust Beit Midrash and Jewish studies program. It is a leading academic institution in Israel, specializing in high-tech engineering, business, and health sciences.

For students in the Pre-Engineering Track, the first two years will be in English and include Ulpan (Hebrew-Language studies) and afterwards students will be able to transition to the different Hebrew Engineering Tracks (Software, Industrial, Electrical, Electro-Optics and Bioinformatics).

Application Process and Admissions Requirements

Finances

There are all the aliyah benefits for tuition, ulpan, and living expenses. If you don’t make Aliyah there are tourist scholarships, Beit Midrash scholarships and interest free loans available for students. See more information here

Israeli students have their own insurance through a kupa. Foreign students handle their health insurance on their own. Most use Maccabi Foreign Health Insurance or Aim Health.

Beit midrash classes, social activities, food (cafeteria), travel, and security fees.

General

We have a counseling center which helps students navigate their disabilities and any need for accommodations throughout the year.

Students interact in the dorms, cafeteria, Beit Midrash. Academics is mostly separate.

There are no issues. Graduates of JCT live and work across the world.

Living Arrangements

Most live either on campus or off campus, many times in the Baka area.

Student dorms are open all through the summer for international students and incur a slight charge.

Everything- shul, beit midrash, Rabbi, JLIC couple, Shabbatonim with meals, and we even have a mikveh on campus!
