As the IT and high-tech sectors are experiencing rapid growth, there is an increasing need for highly skilled computer science graduates in both the local and global markets. Reichman University computer science students receive an average of three job offers from the biggest high-tech companies during their last year of studies.
The Double Major program in Economics, Entrepreneurship with Data Science provides a multi-dimensional understanding of the global economy and the business world, while giving the students hands-on knowledge to start their own business or startup, a knowledge which is taught both by academic experts as well as industry specialists. The Data part of the degree provides the students with unique data analysis and programming skills. The double major undergraduate program in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration is the first of its kind in Israel. The Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, a unique and innovative school in the Israeli landscape, strives to promote academic, research, educational study and practice in the field of entrepreneurship and business in Israel. The program is intended for students who are interested in establishing new innovative startups or new initiatives in organizations.
The program provides students with practical tools and skills for building prototypes of innovative technological products, as well as for designing a business plan with the guidance of leading mentors from the Israeli startup community, entrepreneurs and investors. The BA program in Government prepares students for careers in Israel and abroad in the fields of public policy and administration, diplomacy and foreign policy, and strategy and security. Thanks to its strong emphasis on theoretical foundations, leadership development, and practical tools, the degree equips future leaders, scholars, and policymakers with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the most critical challenges of the 21st century.
The School of Psychology aims to provide students with the knowledge, tools and practical experience to enable them to fulfill their aspirations contribute to the wellbeing of individuals and society, and go on to advanced degree studies. Students are exposed to new fields in psychology, and core courses include clinical psychology, social psychology, neuroscience, and criminology.
Rabbi Ben and Ellie Menora recently joined the JLIC Mizrachi Herzliya team as Co-Directors. Previously, they had been Co-Directors of JLIC at Binghamton since 2021. They live in Herzliya with their children Maayan, Hodaya Malka, Moshe, Ayelet Rachel and Adi Rivka.
Rav Ben made Aliya as a kid from Chicago, IL. He served 3 years in IDF’s Golani brigade, learned in Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh (KBY) both before and after his army service, then earned an LL.B. at Bar-Ilan University, splitting his time between the law library and the BIU Kollel. After 2 years at a corporate law firm, Ben joined the Kollel at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) studied education at Herzog College, and taught 7th grade boys for a stint. When he can find the time, Ben enjoys a good run, jam session, any kind of puzzle, and a good schmooze.
Ellie made Aliya from London with her parents and five siblings. She started training in gymnastics and swimming at the age of 5 and is a certified instructor in both. Ellie studied at Midreshet Tehillah, earned her BSN at Machon Tal in Jerusalem, and is a trained kallah teacher. Before moving to Binghamton, Ellie was an ER nurse in Shaare Zedek hospital and volunteered as a medic for Magen David Adom. Ellie thoroughly enjoys hiking, running, swimming and a good cup of coffee.
The programs do not require, but scores can sometimes help individuals in quantitative subjects, because they provide further indication.
Each school with the RRIS has its own admissions requirements. Normally on the average a “B” average and above is required. For quantitative subjects, advanced math is required. It is not possible to give one general idea. For example, for government or communications a solid “B” average works. For psychology it is preferred to have studied biology. For computer sciences one must have done advanced calculus and must pass a summer mechina, etc. For business, economics, entrepreneurship one must be strong in math, and grades such as an “A” in math will help the individual get accepted.

IDF is above all. A person can apply and get accepted to RU, and delay for a whole three years or in the middle. The IDF transcends all.

The Ministry of Absorption grant is available for those who are olim. No financial assistance for housing is available from the university.
Those who do not make aliya can receive a Masa scholarship in the first year and a needs-based scholarship for tuition based on their socio economic profile. Olim receive the regular sal klita benefits but can also receive our needs-based scholarships. There are, of course, special scholarships for soldiers and reservists and we have 300 lone soldiers on campus.
Health insurance is available for US $1600 from an Israeli insurance company
A person will need US $16,900 for tuition, US $11,400 for dorms, US $6,000 for food, US $1,500 for insurance. A student needs around US $35,000 a year all inclusive. Many of our students work and make anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 per annum in various available jobs.
550 international students live in the dorms, 1,900 live in apartments around the campus and some live in neighboring satellite towns in the Sharon area and in Tel Aviv.

All learning accommodations are available in accordance with regulations for Israel campuses. We have special dorm rooms for students with disabilities.
There is a natural connection since 25 percent of the students in the international school are Israelis. In all of the extra curricular activities, especially in the clubs, there is a lot of connection and through events of the student union and our social and cultural division.
They transfer perfectly. We are a fully fledged university with PHD programs and research all approved by the Council for Higher Education.
Hundreds of our students get jobs, we have job fairs, and we have a career placement office. They also get into grad school in the finest universities in the world.
