Eitan and Elana are the founding couple of the Dr. Mordecai D. Katz z’l JLIC at Tel Aviv University program.
Eitan grew up in London and has been in Israel for most of the last decade including serving in the IDF. After learning at Yeshivat Hakotel, he studied Jewish history and Politics at Hebrew University. He studied for his Masters at Haifa University, while learning for Smicha with Mizrachi Musmachim. Eitan has worked in high-tech and was the youth director at Shivtei Yisrael in Raanana for two years, prior to establishing the program at Tel aviv University.
Elana made aliyah at age 7 from New York to Efrat. She did sherut Leumi in a home for children at risk and then was a Madricha at Midreshet Moriah, while studying for her BA in Psychology and Education at Hebrew University. Elana was also a youth director in Raanana for two years. Elana worked in high tech for a year, and completed has completed her MA in Educational psychology and works in schools in Tel Aviv as an educational psychologist.
ACTs and SATs are optional for TAU English-language undergraduate programs
Every program might require different additional elements, so the best way to prepare is by checking the program listing for detailed information. General requirements include SAT/ACT results (optional for certain programs), an Academic Diploma (Graduation Certificate), official transcript from the high school you attended (students in their final year of high school can apply with an interim transcript), English language proof, a personal essay, and two letters of recommendation. The Dual Degree program with Columbia University typically opens in August and closes in January for the following fall admission. The other undergraduate programs are typically open for application from September/October to the following July.

See here for more general entrance requirements from The Registration for Hebrew Taught Programs Students applying to Hebrew-taught programs are also typically required to undergo psychometric testing and testing in Hebrew and English proficiency in addition to the general requirements. Eligible students who have recently made Aliyah have the option of starting their undergraduate studies in English through the academic integration track of the BA in Management and Liberal Arts program. After successfully completing a year of intensive Hebrew classes alongside the core program curriculum, students can transfer to the Hebrew-taught Management BA.
