For over 25 years, JLIC has been the cornerstone of Jewish student life on college campuses across North America—and for the past 8 years, we’ve been growing rapidly in Israel as well.
With a team of over 25 campus staff running JLIC programs at 10 universities and colleges and reaching over 3,000 students, we offer on-the-ground insight and experience. Add to that our College in Israel advising team, who bring the passion and knowledge to guide your path—we’re here to help you find your place in Israeli higher education.
Whether you’re in high school and planning ahead, currently on a gap year, or serving in the army or sherut leumi and thinking about what’s next, we’re here to help you turn your Israeli college dreams into reality.
We provide clear, accessible information about where and what you can study. Our site focuses on English-language and transitional-degree programs, with close collaboration from the universities we feature. (Of course, there are countless options in Hebrew as well!)
We also host:
Info sessions across the U.S.
Visits to yeshivot and seminaries in Israel
Virtual events
to help you explore your options and feel confident in your decision.
We’re here for that, too. Schedule a session with one of our College in Israel advisors who are trained to help you think through everything: degree options, language of study, school location, campus size, and, of course, the nature of the local JLIC community.
When you’re ready to go deeper on a specific campus, our JLIC directors are happy to connect—whether it’s to chat, answer questions, or introduce you to a student who’s been in your shoes.
We’ll help make that happen. Watch this space for a full calendar of events.
Meet the JLIC directors at a campus Open House, stop by and meet us for coffee on your campus tour, or attend a Shabbaton to get a feel for the warmth and vibrancy that makes the College in Israel experience sought after by many.
Once you arrive, you’ll discover it’s about more than just academics. Our JLIC teams are on the ground to help you thrive—with Torah learning, Shabbat meals, social events, and a strong, supportive community grounded in Jewish values.
It’s definitely worth the effort to get there—and we’ll be with you the whole way.
